How long does it take to make special or non-stocked carbide parts?

It generally takes 2-3 weeks.  If the parts are from non-standard, made to order blanks, it can take up to 4 weeks.  Most semi specials such as grooving inserts with just a small change like width or radius can usually be done in under 2 weeks.  Also allow approximately 1 additional week for coating.

Will your carbide run as well as Valenite, Kennametal, Carboloy, etc.?

Absolutley.  We can supply parts that are very similar.  We also have a wide range of coatings available as well.  Please note however, application can vary.  In some cases ours will run better or not as well.  Generally this is only by a small percentage.  This is the case anytime you change suppliers.  In almost all cases, you will save money using our tools.
